Ink fest by oceansigh Ink fest by oceansigh
one of my random design doodles, mostly when I'm bored at school :p
I made this using a gel pen that i use to write with...
I've noticed that these patterns i generally make are similar...
any comments? :D

I love discovering other artists who draw in the same type of algorithmic abstract style as me, it's interesting see all the little unique variations in detail... Almost as if two dimensions crossing paths

Ohh I love discovering artists like me too! :D
And Your abstract style is amazingg *.*
May I ask you one thing though?
Can you actually recreate any of your abstract artwork exactly the same way if you had to?
(Because I feel that it's impossible for me to do that since my abstracts are so random xD)

It's also impossible for me to draw the same abstract piece twice... The shapes and patterns will always have a mind of their own, and my pen is just a tool that brings them into the physical world... It's like a form of meditation, where my mind must be completely blank as I draw.

I like the fact that every single abstract drawing is completely unique... There are infinite possibilities of every single physical combination.

Oh, these patterns look really nice!
I have to say that the patterns are quite unique/non-repeating so don't worry about that.
Anyway, great job and keep up the good work! :w00t:

Haha thank youu very much <33
Actually when I said it's similar,
I was comparing this with my other abstract designs
as they have some patterns that are common maybe ^^

Lovely ink work! Very visually complex; it almost looks like an optical illusion. I love how even the distribution is, and the white border helps to frame it and contain it, so to speak. I'm not one for linework so I love when I see others do it.

I've never had patience to do zentangles! Well maybe cause i 've already finished school... i've draw comix as i remember) and a silly drawing for my classmates, i think it was my first comissions... fot food and physics homework XD
You did nice work. Maybe it will need some more neat lines if you allow me some critique. But stil its kinda mesmerising^_^

I don't know how I have the patience to make zentangles *.*
Maybe because I am really bored in class lol
btw, did you make the drawings of your classmates for free? xD

I know that my lines are'nt very neat,
It's kinda difficult to make it with a gel pen >w<
(I prefer using a mechnanic pencil for such stuff because of that)
and as you know, mistakes in traditional are irriversable ;P

Totally understand!^_^ classes can be boring
Sometimes for money, somethimes food or homeworks as i recall...we kinda have symbiotic existance. Thats explain the reason i did not know chemistry and math at all - i just never try cause there was people who know the subject but can not draw or did homework for other disciplines in which i succeed XD

Thats right! I rarely use white corrector, its easier to think that some line mistake was part of the plan^^

Yeahh, very boring XD
especially when there is free time and no teacher...
(which has happened a lot)

yeah! I hated math and chemistry too *.*
but I did make science diagrams (and other stuff) for ppl too!
but it was for free for my classmates...
I never liked to ask for anything in return (maybe because I was shy >w<)
I remember that last year I made a cute christmas chart
that my teacher told me to make for her daughter...
It's like everyone in school is taking advantage of my good art skills ;w;
(I can't survive as an artist if I do stuff for free all the time lol)

I have never used a white corrector for my inked lines >u<
It's always made into part of the plan, or maybe coloured into with ink xD

I was shy too (i think i'm still in some questions). But i was also very poor. So it was a matter of choice XD
I think you should try to take at least small price for something other people want you to draw, cause it's hard work as any other, not just entertainment.

Well it can be useful tool when you just need to correct small line angle or such ^^

I will try and ask for a small price next time... ^^

Ohh ok :D
(I did'nt even know about the correction tool before you told haha)

I'm a sucker for line work.  This is nice.  Lots of shape and layer here, lot for the eye to take in.

c: Hm, that's hard. I think, especially for this one, but also a bit on the other one I faved, I like that the linework varies. In this one, there are consistent lines, and then darker heavier areas, so it's not all the same. Makes it really interesting and gives the eye a place to go.

I'm glad you think It's interesting!
I was just randomly doodling stuff in school and I don't usually make such stuff with a clear picture in mind, It just... happens
(and I get all creative and stuff)
anyways, Thanks for the feedback Heart
